Guests are just that guests - Otherwise they would be customers. If you are holding an anniversary dinner, the hosts and only the hosts are required to pay.

Generally no. this is not the usual formality. ghowever, if the guests underdstand that you cant take all of the financial burdon im sure most would be happy to pitchin

Guests should not be asked to pay at an anniversary dinner. Whoever is throwing the party should pay the bill. The guests should bring gifts.

Guests invited to a anniversary dinner should not have to day. This is a tab that is paid for by the host of the dinner.
