Should my guinea pigs feel hot?

No, they should not. This could be a fever or some other kind of illness. Take your pig to a vet who specialises in rodents especially if there are other signs of illness (not eating, dull eyes/fur, hunching in corner of the cage, weird poo/pee). Check the temperature in your home - it should be between 70 and 80 degrees.

If your pig feels hot, it could be a fever. Take your pig to a qualified exotics vet for a check up as this is serious. Also check the temperature in your home - guinea pigs thrive between 70 and 80 degrees fahrenheit. Ears are a good indicator of temperature.
