If you are in a committed relationship with this man, you can decide to be the primary financial support of the relationship. You should make sure he also contributes by doing things around the house. The kids should also pitch in.

It depends on the present condition of this particular person and his kids. Ofcourse, above all if you love him, you should support them without that being a burden.

It's up to you. The only advice I can give you is never give anything to someone for free. If he keeps taking and taking you will only be out of money in the end and be miserable. Supporting someone is fine as long as you're getting something in return and they are appreciative.

Well, it is completely up to you. It is always a good commendable thing to reach out and help children in need. They need their dad, too.

A relationship should be a 2 way street. If he is contributing in other ways at home fine. If it is an excuse for him to be lazy, not good.
