Should I report a car accident which I caused if I left the scene?

You should always report a car accident that you are involved in. You may get a ticket for leaving the scene as well.

yes, if you leave then you compound your punishment by adding a felony charge of runing form the police. You will still be charged with a hit and run ither way but not reporting to the police will add a lot of time in jail, and a large fine too.

Yes. If you do not report the accident and someone saw you leave, you will be in more legal trouble than if you report yourself.

You have a moral and legal obligation to report the accident. If you fail to report it, and you were seen, several charges can be made against you, including hit and run, and leaving the scene of an accident.
