Should I make my child spend part of each day in cursive handwriting practice?

A pretty handwriting is to have, but it is certainly not a necessity. I would not make too big of an issue about my child's handwriting as long as it was neat and legible. Many schools now do not even teach cursive. So much "writing" is done on computer today.

Yes but no too long it is very important for the child to enjoy learning so try and find a fun way to teach
