Question by  ShrimpDeep (21)

Should I go to Disney Land Park on the 4th of July?

I have heard that everyone avoids Disney Land on the 4th.

An alternative to crowded Disneyland is nearby Knott's Berry Farm. This theme park puts on an incredible fireworks display every Independence Day that can be seen throughout the park without much difficulty. There is even a re-creation of Independence Hall, along with replicas of the Star Spangled Banner and the Liberty Bell! I heartily recommend this slice of Americana.

There tends to be ENORMOUS crowds during that time of the year. People say you should avoid it if you do not like crowds. So if you can tolerate, go.

It is true. Disney Land reaches max capacity for number of people inside the park at noon. Unless you do not mind a lot of people and huge waits in line, do not go on the 4th of July. Go to the beach or see the surrounding area instead. It is not worth the hassle.

You can ask your travel agent or a park representative about traffic-flow or large group reservations for the date of your chosen visit.

Yes! You should at least do this once in your life if you love Disney. Even though the crowds are crushing, the parade and fireworks make up for the extra people. You can avoid the long lines for the rides and just go for the fireworks, they are awesome!
