It's a great space-saver, and as long as you're not going to try a live piano recital on it and you're going to be inputting MIDI notes with it on your computer, it should work fine.
No you should not. Investing in a real piano is worth it, roll up piano's tend to be glitchy and not work at all. The keys also tend to stick when pressed on.
