Should I get a dragonfly tattoo?

Does it have any hidden meaning I should know about?

It seems that a dragonfly can mean sinister and evil or joy and happiness. It is used mostly in Asian cultures and the pretty transparent wings with a body which can be any color make it a popular design especially with women. Put it where it is easily covered.

I don't understand why anyone would want to desecrate their body with a tatoo. I say NO. Especially if you are of the Jewish faith. You may not realize it, but you are not able to be buried in a Jewish cememtery if you've had a tatoo. Food for thought!

A dragonfly is just an insect. It might be a symbol of sorts in other cultures, but that would depend on where you live. There's no negative stigma surrounding it that i have ever heard of. Getting a dragonfly tattoo is an aesthetic choice.
