Many pets eat grass which helps with their digestion. If your dog has blood when he has a bowel movement it probably is not related unless there is some kind of treatment on the grass like weed killers. Take your dog in to the doctor as soon as you can.

It isn't dangerous for your dog to be eating grass. That is if the grass isn't treated with chemicals or if the dog isn't eating large quantities. The diarrhea with blood in it is a serious matter. It could be caused by the grass eating or an intestinal virus or sudden change in their diet. A veterinarian is needed!

The grass, No. The bloody liquid stool, Yes. Dogs will eat Grass because it makes them vomit. They do that to make themselves feel better after they ate something funny. As for the bloody stool take your dog to your vet right away!
