Should I be concerned about warts on my dogs ears?

He seems to scratch them all the time as if they are bothering him.

These could be warts, or they could be another problem. Dogs do get skin cancer which can make your dog very uncomfortable and some kinds can spread into other areas of your dog's body and cause more serious issues. It sounds like you are going to be needing the help of a dog health care facility.

If your dog has multiple warts this could be a sign of skin cancer or another less severe underlying condition. They can be very uncomfortable for you dog as well.

Yes, you should be concerned. Warts are not common on dogs and they could be the result of a tumor or infection from an ear mite. Take your dog to the vet as soon as possible.

These warts are caused by papilloma virus and usually go away on their own without treatment. They may show up again at times.
