Should I be concerned about spotting at 14 weeks?

Yes you should be concerned. Bleeding occurring anytime during your pregnancy should be investigated and assessed by your obstetrician. There are many potential causes including a threatened miscarriage, infection or even an undiagnosed cervical growth. For whatever cause, the minimum action is to set an appointment for further examination to ensure you are in good health during your pregnancy.

Yes. Spotting during pregnancy is never a good thing. You should go to your doctor and have him check things out. If you are cramping and it's painful you should go straight to the Emergency Room.
