Should I be concerned about a progesterone level of .6 during early pregnancy?

I recently had extensive blood work and learned that my progesterone is .6, I have lost a pregnancy before due to low progesterone.

This is a low progesterone level for even an early pregnancy. Normal levels in the first days of pregnancy should be 1 to 1. 5. Check with your OBGYN immediately.

It is always a concern to have low progesterone levels. Your doctor or midwife might recommend an ultrasound to check on fetal growth. Sometimes it's just a wait and see sort of predicament.

You should be concerned about progestrone level because chances of abortion are high. No doubt you should be optimistic about your pregnancy but consult your doctor and follow his/her advise and take some supplements.

If your doctor did not prescribe you a progesterone therapy then there is no reason to be concerned. Make sure he rechecks it at your next appointment.
