Yes, any mole that changes in color or itches, grows bigger in some way, there is usually something wrong. A normal mole does not change at all throughout a persons life, you must get it checked out by your doctor.

You should definitely use caution with moles as they can be cancerous. You should definitely consult a licensed doctor since there is no way to know if it is benign or malicious.

Skin cancers (melanomas) are on the rise and most doctors recommend a body exam annually. A dermatologist will look at any skin discolorations and/or moles for signs of disease. A mole that is flaking or changing in any way is a reason for concern.

Definitely you should take notice of it.Mole is a symptom of cancer. The flaking mole is still more dangerous.Do you have itching?Does it turn red or gets puss?Go to a doctor immediately. But it may not be the case always.May be a rash like thing.
