Should I be concerned about a discolored spot on my childs leg?

The spot on your child's leg may be one of a range of different possible things. It could be anything from a bruise to a birthmark to an insect bite. If you are unsure of what the spot on his leg is, you should set up an appointment with your child's doctor as soon as possible.

It all depends. If the spot is from a minor hit that you witnessed and know it will go away in several days and your child is not in too much pain then you can wait it out. However if the spot has beent there awhile and you do not know what it is, of course go see the doctor.

yes you should consult your doctor because this may be a blood disease causing this color or a certain skin disease.

Any time something does not look right on a child you should always see the doctor it could be about a million different things and only the doctor will have the right answer and treatment if needed for you.

if the area looks like a bug bite with a white head and redness with some swelling it could be MRSA see a doctor immediately or go to the ER
