Should a kid ride an ATV unsupervised?

Absolutely not. would you let a child ride a motorcycle unsupervised? These may seem safer than that but they are still a machine with a motor that a person can wreck and be seriously injured or killed by.

Whether a kid rides an ATV unsupervised depends on the age and maturity of the child and where the child would be riding the ATV. A mature 12-year-old may be unsupervised while riding close to the family residence while an immature 16-year-old would be irresponsible regardless of where they ride

A child should never be allowed to ride an ATV unsupervised. There are numerous accidents each year that result in injury or death. These accidents happen even with adults. A child is much more likely to exercise poor judgement.

No, they can turn over easily and then the weight of one alone could crush the vital organs on a child. These machines are usually heavier than the child.
