One should proceed to seal the driveway themselves, or hire another crew to finish the work. Depending if the prior contractor was not paid then deduct that portion of the invoice. However if they are paid then you should contact them or file a complaint with the BBB.

If the workers pulled a permit and had a contract which said they were to seal your driveway, than you have the right to sue them for breech of contract. If its imperative you fix your driveway immediatly, you can purchase a sealer at Lowe's. They can help seal it.

If it was part of your contract, write a certified letter requesting they complete per the contract and send a copy of the contract. If not, Sorry out of luck.

If they will not come back then you will have to seal your driveway yourself. Go to a Lowes or Home Depot and let them know you need to seal your driveway. They have everything that you will need to get the job done right.

Seal the driveway yourself, it is an easy process that needs to be done on a dry day with temps above freezing. The 5 gallon buckets of sealant are poured and then spread using a broom like squeegee. Give it a day to dry and your done.
