On a Blazer, what is the fuel pump location?

The fuel pump is INSIDE the gas tank. Remove fuel cap and disconnect battery ground. Drain gas. Disconnect electrical connectors. Remove skid plate if present. Unbolt tank straps. Lower tank to access the lines and connectors to the pump. Clean off debris before removing pump. Reinstall in reverse.

Typically it will be located inside the gas tank on newer model fuel injected model Blazers. If yours is an older carburated model then you may have a mechanical pump that is bolted to the block.

On all fuel injected models, the fuel pump is found inside the gas tank. You must drop the tank to remove/replace.
