My truck has 17 inch rims: What other tire sizes fit my rims?

Measure from the center of the rim to the fist thing the tire would come in contact with for the width. Making sure the wheel is turned in the right direction. Measure from the top of the rim to the lower wheel for the height.

None if you are talking about the diameter of the tires. Only 17" tires will fit on those 17" rims. If you are referring to the width, this can vary depending on the rim itself. But you must correctly match the diameter of the rim to the tire.

Basically any width tire should fit on the rim. AS long as it has a 17" and isn't too much wider or skinnier. Make sure to measure your clearances and rim width to know you tire limits. Check out tire website like Tirerack. com for more info on what should fit your rim.

There are wide choices of tire sizes. As long as tire tires you choose indicates that it is for a 17 inch rim. You may find the size at the side wall of a tire. You must also consider the wheel well before buying big size tires.
