My Toro lawn mower is blowing white smoke, could it be the valves, head gasket, or rings?

White smoke usually means there is moisture in the engine. This could be from water in the oil. Damage from the moisture could have overheated the engine causing a valve to be warped or not opening or closing properly. Try changing the oil first to see if this helps. Repairs will be costly if the valves are bent.

If it's coming from the exhaust, did you put too much oil in the crankcase. If it's coming from the belts, a belt may not be turning or may be on incorrectly.
