Make meal time fun with a variety of colorful foods. You can also keep healthy snacks available throughout the day to prevent starvation. Get creative, aside from the display of the food, add some incentives. After meal light desserts practiced regularly, the child will know that if they eat their healthy meal a sweet treat awaits.

Little kids go through phases with food. As long as he is growing properly and the doctor isn't concerned, you shouldn't be either. Just keep offering healthy food, as well as food that you know he likes. He will grow out of it.

If you are having a hard time getting your toddler to eat, one of the things you can try is giving him rewards for making tiny bits of progress. For example, extra five minutes of up time before bed time for eating two to three bites of vegetables.

Remember that you are the parent. Make him eat something. I would tell the toddler no more nuggets until you eat ______. (You can fill it in with what you want him/her to eat)
