You have a tough problem. I would check into a bite appliance to cover your teeth while you sleep. Crowning severly damaged teeth may help, but you risk breaking any dental work that is done.

The damaged teeth by grinding in the sleep could be treated by bonding fix. It has to be done by a dentist. The process could vary from deep cleaning, filling cavities and capping.

No, bonding will not fix damage du to teeth grinding. Bonding works more as a permanent retainer to keep teeth together. To fix your damaged teeth, you need to consult your dentist. Your options may include veneers (porcelain caps placed over your original teeth). Also, it would be beneficial to you to get a retainer to wear at night.

Bonding is a good temporary solution for most any dental problem, but a dentist would have to evaluate your teeth to know if it would work sure. Bonding works great but will have to be redone, depending on your lifestyle, in a few years likely due to discoloration.
