My Land Rover Discovery is running rough. What's wrong?

If your vehicle is running rough I would first replace your air filter,spark plugs and wires unless youve done that in the last 2 or 3 months. After that it could be many things. Is your check engine light on is so go to auto parts store and get it tested. If youve overheated majorly it could be a blown head

It could be many things. Most likely it is a dirty fuel system. It could also be a work or faulty ignition system. Check the spark plugs to see if they are carboned up or oily. Make sure all spark plug wires are tight and in good condition. If all else fails check the engine codes.

Without know the engine history or maintenance records I can say for sure. The first thing I would do is do a tune up. Paying special attention to the sparkplugs.

you may have several issues. the plugs may be going bad. also you need to check for vaccum leaks. it would not hurt to check the plug wires when you inspect the plugs.
