You first have to make sure that you have the right key. If the key is correct, please insert it and try to turn the key while simultaneously trying to rotate the steering wheel left and right. You should soon find that sweet spot where the ignition key rotates.

Try to jiggle the wheel while turning the key most of the time that works and make sure the shifter is in park and try jiggling that

First thing to do is to put the key in the ignition and try pulling the steering wheel hard to the left then right while turning the key. When the wheel locks, sometimes it locks hard against the wheel and you relieve the tension by pulling hard on the steering wheel first one way then the other.
