Take the dog to the vet as soon as possible. The lump will be examined. A biopsy would most likely be done. Possibly X-rays. The result of the tests would determine a course of action.

Small round bumps are mysterious things and need to be checked out by vets if they are particularly worrisome. Examples of what worrisome might be are: if they are warm to the touch, show up suddenly, cause the animal pain or are itchy and hair loss occurs in the area.

The best thing to do is to take him/her to the vet. There are a few things that it could possible be. It could be as simple as a fatty tumor, or it could be a sist that has gotten infected. It could also be some kind of cancer which needs to be looked at immediately.

A lump on a dog's hip is not that uncommon. It could be a calcium deposit or a number of minor conditions. If the lunp gets bigger or you're really worried, take the dog to the vet.

You should take her to the vet it could be an injury or she may have a bone spur which can be very painful or she may have a tumor only the vet can tell you if it dangerous or not and if it is they will be able to start treatment early and have a better cure rate

If it is causing your dog no discomfort let it be. It is probably a harmless bone spur or calcium deposit.

It could be arthritis, or maybe a skin reaction. Talk to your vet, maybe they can help you find a solution that will not cost very much!
