My computer is making weird humming noises. What could be the problem?

Some of the possibilities are sound of SMPS fan, hard-disk noise, processor fan noise. These are three sources for hum noise. Most likely processor or SMPS noise.

Well there are many possibilities to this humming problem. The main problem I would assume would be a hard drive problem. It could also the fan hitting a wire.

This could have many causes. In most of the cases this is because of one of your fans. You can have fans on the processor, for the power supply or on the graphic board. Often the fan is full of dust or a cable is hiding the fan running properly.
