My Chevrolet truck airbag light stays on. What should I check?

Unhook and reconnect your battery to reset the light. If unhooking the battery does not work then check with your dealer as the airbag could be under recall or discharged.

it is not possible to fix anything until you know,what to fix. so have someone scan it for DTC's and tell what it will take to fix it. otherwise it will be useless. there are no flash codes,etc. you need to scan tool capable forpulling SIR codes. like tech2 which all GM dealers use. it will help.

You need to ask a professional about it, they could help you out, and see what the problem is. It could be anything. It could be the switch to it. It is probably the switch to it, it got stuck or isn't working. Have it checked out though. Take it in.
