Usually when you brake lights stay on it is a brake switch issue. Usually it needs adjusted. However if it doesn't work at all then it may need be replaced.

Depending on what you have checked the brake lights are controlled by the brake light switch under your brake pedal near the top. If that has one bad and is grounding inside the switch, that will cause the brake lights to illuminate like you were pressing on the brake.

Most not all vehicles have a brake pedal switch located directly behind the brake pedal itself. You will need to look up under the dash to see this switch. Most of the time the switch gets stuck and you have to manually pull the plastic pin out to turn off the brake lights. Replace switch if lights are staying on.

Sounds like a switch could be the cause make sure its off. This could be located under the dash. Make sure parking brake is not on. Could be the case.

Is the parking brake on?? That could cause it. If not set your parking brake and try to release it again.

You have to go to the people that fix brakes something is definatly wrong with your brakes , go there soon. I had this problem many times sometimes was my brake pads , sometimes my rotors , and even once it was my actual brake line so you definitly need work on your brakes and it caould be sensors to.
