Depends on the person's specific reaction to a drug. Usually commercials just say it is 100% effective but reality is that there is a specific amount of percentage that it will work. So I suggest that you try the drug out first and make sure you do not have any allergies then evaluate, if it does not work then change.

All of these treatments are only for symptoms. The only cure is surgery for external hemorrhoids or banding for internal hemorrhoids. Banding is not painfull.
