Question by  mitch (18)

Is V8 Fusion good for you?

I love V8 Fusion so I hope it is good for you.

Answer by  Terri (229)

Yes V8 Fusion is good for you and it is a healthy alternative for soda and juices with high fructose corn syrup. However, since V8 Fusion is fruit juice, it is high in sugar and therefore, high in calories. The original V8, which contains vegetables instead of fruits, is low in calories and high in fiber and vitamins.

Yes true, but V8 is also high in sodium. And is a little more than 80% tomato juice which isn't bad compared to pops (and)(ect....  add a comment

Whether or not something is good for you is relative, but V8 Fusion does have lots of healthy nutrients. Be careful of the amount of sugar in it though.

V8 Fusion could be considered both good and not good for you. It is good in that it provides vitamins and minerals, and certainly more than other drinks like soda. However, it also contains sweeteners which are not very nutritious.

Actually it has no sweeteners, only natural sugar from the fruits.  add a comment

It has a lot of vitamins, but also a lot of sugar. It's by far a better choice than soda, but should also be kept at 1-2 servings as there is a lot of sugar in the drink. Try alternating with fruit flavored water or water with fresh lemon or lime.

It supposed to be, no one has proven it otherwise. It's a blend of Fruits and Veggies but tastes like a fruit so it's great for people who don't eat a lot of healthy fruits and veggies.

i was told that all the fruits and veggies that wee put into this drink have been sitting on shelves for a long time before these drinks were made. So it may not be good for you, but it sure does not taste like its been sitting around for days.
