There are such things called dissociative behaviors, and of course there's a whole host of dissociative disorders. Autism may also play a part. Have your child professionally evaluated.

There are attachment disorders, in which the child is not attached to the caregiver or parent. Another possibility is an anti-social disorder, where they are not connected to anyone.

seems that i have heard of something like this but it could be something like autism or aspergers syndrome which is a mild form of autism so you might want to talk to your child's doctor about this and get some tests done.

There is no such thing as disconnected disorder. There are, however, several disorders that can leave a person acting as if they are disconnected from the world. Many children with Autism or Downs Syndrome act as if they are not socially involved with their family or peers. I would discuss these issues with a doctor very soon.
