It is unknown whether the sex of your baby can be planned, however, the Shettles Method suggests how to get the sex of your choice. For a boy, intercourse should at the time closest to ovulation as possible with deep penetration and orgasm. For a girl, coitus should be 2-3 days before ovulation with shallow penetration and do not orgasm.

Some people swear that it can be done by eating special foods if you want a girl and other foods if you want a boy. There are many books wrote on the subject but I have no idea if they work or not. I would go by a folk medicine book because there is much truth behind the ideas.

Some fertility clinics still allow you to plan the sex of your baby if you do invitro fertilization or artificial insemination, but overall it isn't considered a morally sound practice.
