Most tourist activity is centered in "the City of Golden Friendship", Cagayandeoro. Although a mecca for white-water rafting and river exploration, this growing city also boasts calcite caves, an eco-tourism village and an adventure park which displays the region's abundant flora and fauna.

The Cagayan area of the Philippines is a favorite touist area of nature lovers,and a great place for whitewater rafting and kayaking.Vincente de Lara Park has age-old mahogany trees and is apopular jogging area.Hulaga caves is a popular archeaological site,and Plaza de los Heroes Memorial Park is the final resting place of the Battle of Cagayan de Oro.

About Fifty percent of the people in the Cagayan area of the Philiphines are tourists. There are many nice beaches and markets and the lady boys are second to none.
