The "Blue Book" refers to the Kelley Blue Book, a set of annual publications regarding the values of used vehicles. The book has a blue cover; hence, the name. National Automobile Dealers Association's (NADA) publishes the NADA Official Used Car Guide for trucks and cars. NADA's books are yellow or green, but are often referred to as "the blue book."
