Is there a somewhat safe systemic fungicide for my small crepe myrtle tree that will protect it from powdery mildew?

I have a very small yard with my veggies nearby in pots. I don't want to spray with anything that negates my efforts to grow the veggies organically. I could pour something around the base of the tree and not affect the veggies. I live in coastal southern California.

Well, I think you need to use a spray because your plant is having some kind of fungus disease. Or just use vinegar.

The best form of fungicide is lack of moisture. If you trim everything around the tree that will hold moisture that should do the trick.

Thank you for your interest in my problem. When the east winds blow out here on the coast, moisture is no problem. However, we are in for 2 months of "May grey" and "June gloom" cloud cover (w/o any rain). So the leaves may need some sort of help.  add a comment
