An integer is any of the natural numbers (including zero) or their negatives. Since zero is neither negative nor positive, the least positive integer is one.

There is a least positive integer. Simply because an integer is a whole number, the least positive integer is a 1. It cannot be a decimal, or even a negative number.

Integers are the group of numbers like... - 3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3,... They don't include fractions or decimals, so the least positive integer is 1.
