George Carlin wrote several books. LAST WORDS is his memoir that was finished after his death with his family's permission.

Before his death, George Carlin was working on an autobiography with friend, Tony Hendra. After his death, Hendra released the book "Last Words". It can be found in major bookstores.

Published after his death is George Carlin's autobiography, "Last Words" which tells his complete life story from birth to his final days. For a different perspective, check out Bill Brennan's biography entitled "George Carlin's Alter-Ego by His Alter-Ego." Brennan was a close family friend of the Carlins, and his book covers Carlin's career with humor and affection.

George Carlin has a biography, but there is no autobiography. And unfortunately i don't think there ever will be anything as awesome as an autobiography writen by George Carlin himself.

His autobiography (written by Carlin himself) is called "Last Words: A Memoir" and his biography (written by James Sullivan) is called "Seven Dirty Words: Life & Crimes of George Carlin".
