Is the "Walking Dead" comic series going to be made into a movie?

The Walking Dead comic series will not be made into a movie. A television series based on the comic series will debut on the AMC cable television network in October 2010 and will not be screened in motion picture theatres. Frank Darabont, a well known, feature film writer and director is the creator of this series.

It looks very much like that it is going to be. I hope, I think that this would make a cool movie.

As far as I know, there is no plan for a "Walking Dead" movie. There is, however, going to be a "Walking Dead" TV show this fall.

From what I have read there is no current plans for a movie. However there is a television series scheduled. It will hit the air on AMC October, 31 2010.
