Developing your embouchure and getting your lips to buzz are the biggest obstacles when you're first starting out. After that your challenge will be developing range and lip slurs. Fingerings are not too hard. Trumpets get to be loud and people hear you! Good luck!

Trumpets are considered to be one of the easier instruments to pick up, though no instrument is easy. Some instruments are harder because there are no sure areas that a note is tuned right but because it has keys you push it shouldn't be hard to figure out. I would say it wouldn't be hard but be prepared for practice!

No, the trumpet is not hard to play. You will find that you will have to train your mouth to work with your mouth piece. You may have a red chapped circle where you mouth piece hits for several days but eventually it "toughens" up and you will enjoy it.

Taking up any instrument can be a challenge, but with determination and practice you will be able to master it. Learning to read music, the keys on the instrument, and developing the embouchure to play the trumpet are just a few things you will need to learn.

Learning to play any musical instrument requires time and practice. It should be no more difficult to learn to play the trumpet than any other instrument if you have good instruction and a sincere desire to learn.
