Basal cell carcinoma is the most common form of skin cancer and the nose is a likely site of occurrence. Certain factors increase the risk of skin cancer- exposure to sun, UV exposure ( tanning beds) and age. Prevention is the best treatment but once diagnosed- it is treated with radiation therapy, cryosurgery and creams.

The nose is a common location for skin cancer caused by exposure to the sun. It is a common site because of the way the nose projects from the face, thus exposing it more than other areas of the face. Treatment is determined by the type, nature and location of the cancer.

No, the most common places are going to be where you have the most sun exposure. Treatment depends on the type of cancer diagnosed.
