If you select the Pantene Pro V shampoo type that is right for dry hair, it will be effective. I have dry hair and it works well with mine.

It depends on the shampoo and conditioner that you buy. You need to purchase the one that is for dry hair, and possibly get one of the leave in conditioners as well. Your hair should be feeling much better to the touch after using the product for two weeks or so.

It can help, however, it is not necessarily the best thing you can use. If you're looking for a cheap shampoo and conditioner that will help with hair, many specify on the bottle the hair type they are made for. Look for a shampoo that is for dry and over processed hair.

Pantene Pro V is excellent for dry hair. Pantene Pro V also is available for different hair types, such as dry or damaged hair, colored hair, ect.

It is as long as you use a good stripping shampoo at least once a month and do hot oil treatments on your hair about once a week cholesterols good.
