Is it worth it to say on Disney property in Disney World in FL?

When you stay on site at a Disney resort, you can use their free transportation to/from Orlando International, you can easily use their bus transportation system (thus not have to rent a car) and if you do choose to rent a car, you also get free parking at the parks ($14 a day value.) I'd say it's worth it.

Staying on-site saves you the cost of a car rental plus you get extra time in the parks in the morning. No hassles with parking and you can rest during the afternoons. However, you'll have to eat every meal on-site - very expensive even with a meal plan. The cheapest Disney resorts are "motel-like". The others are quite expensive.

If you want the full Disney experience and you can afford it then yes. If you cannot afford it or don't care to spend that kind of money there are many hotels near the property that are much more affordable.
