Is it worth it to buy a DVD/VHS combo?

It is worth it to buy a DVD/VHS combo due to the fact that many people still have dozens of movies they purchased years ago. Another good reason is that usually there is a tuner in the combo unit and you can still record TV shows to VHS and watch them at a later time.

They are outdated, but, on the other hand, you can find many old movies on VHS tapes, which are cheaper, than DVD disks to rent.
