You should not take any medication when breastfeeding without consulting with YOUR OB Physician first due to he/she having your past medical history.

That is something you are going to need to talk to your doctor about. When you are breastfeeding, any medication that you take will be absorbed into your blood stream. This means that the baby will ingest the medicines too and it could mess with your baby and possibly make him sick.
