Is it safe to put tetras in a new tank?

I have tetras and a new tank.

It is best to run the tank for a week before stocking it. Rosey tetras then make a good choice for new tanks.

Tetras are generally hardy so yes you can cycle a new tank just put one for every ten gallons or so. Remember to build your fish stock slowly.

It is absolutely safe but tetras need patches of dense vegetation and placement of driftwood andbog branches. Also the lighting and substrate should not be overly bright.

Yes, it is safe to put tetras in a new tank, there is no problem except if you put several in the tank they may reproduce very quickly. I would also recommend putting in a filter and gravel. It would also be benefical to get some bacteria to introduce to the new tank.
