Is it safe to put hydrocortisone cream on my eyelid?

No, you should not put the hydrocortisone cream that close to your eyes unless it was prescribed by aa doctor.

It is typically not recommended to put any steroid nears the eyes, nose, mouth, etc. This is because the skin around these areas in really thin so therefore, they are sensitive and a large amount of drug can be absorbed because the skin is so thin. If you are careful, a small amount is probably ok.

It is safe, but not recommended, as it's easy for the cream to get into your eye. While this might not cause damage, it's better safe than sorry. If you must, try to make sure it's on a part of your lid very far from the margin around your eyeball.

Probably not. That cream has some chemicals that may hurt your eyes. I would say it is too risky. Read the label. It will tell you not to apply it near the mouth and eyes I think.
