Is it safe to have multiple c-sections?

My sister is pregnant for the fourth time and will be having her fourth c-section. I am very worried about her and the baby.

It is a very safe procedure and in fact more and more women are chosing this method of child birth. You can develop too much scar tissue from having the incision in the same place very often and too many times, but your sisters doctor would not recommend it if it wasn't safe.

Yes, it is safe. Once a woman has had a c-section she is unable to be induced in future pregnancies. So its either c-section, or non-induced natural birth.

Yes, unless the physician states otherwise, repeat c-sections are considered safe and sometimes necessary. A vaginal birth after the first c-section can be risky in some cases. Although a vaginal birth after c-section is possible, after two the majority of physician's will not deliver a baby vaginally due to the risks associated with this.
