Is it safe to get a local anesthesia when you have a head cold?

I have a cold and will need to have a local anesthesia.

Yes it is safe to get local anesthesia when you have a head cold as long as the doctors keep your airways clear and your nose is not completely stuffed

If you have a mild cold, it is probably safe to have a local anesthetic, espcially if it is for something very minor.

It should be safe, levels might need adjusted for it. Just make sure to tell your doctor before that you are sick

A head cold will only affect anesthesia when you are attempting to breathe it in, such as nitrous oxide gas. If the local anesthesia is injected, it doesn't matter if you have a cold.
