It is safe only if you take care of few things, like, check if the the company is BBB accredited, go for GIA certified diamonds and check the return policy. Buying online is a good idea as you can take advantage of the online deals and offers.

Yes, but you should research the company first. Only buy from a reputable source and and established company. If you are buying small diamonds then online sellers are fine, but if you're looking for a large diamond it is probably best to buy it in person so you can see the quality for yourself.

I would say that is as safe to buy diamonds online as it is to buy anything else, just find the right store.

I have bought diamonds online before, I believe it's pretty safe. Not, a huge diamond just something under $200 dollars. Shipping was free and they gave free gifts. I don't see why would anyone not buy diamonds from online. Some of the companies that sell diamonds online have been in business for more than 10 years.

Buying diamonds online can be as safe as buying anything online. If totally depends on the seller and website. Most people would prefer to make such a purchase in person, that person-to-person contact is more settling. But if you feel comfortable with a particular site or seller feel free to explore the internet for your diamond buying needs.

If you can find a reputable dealer it is perfectly safe to buy diamonds online. Do research from user reviews and BBB to find such a site.

i would only do it from a company you trust. this is true for all ecommerce, but especially true for higher-priced items. if its an amount that you can afford to lose, then have at it... but if it is a big purchase for you: caveat emptor!

If you are buying from a reputable dealer, buying diamonds online is safe. However, if you buy them from an unknown merchant, then you might get swindled.
