It's not recommend by vets to give dogs any kind of animal bone to chew. Bones splinter when broken and the sharp pieces and sometime are caught in a dog's digestive track. In order to save the animal surgery is sometimes needed. The best chew for a Dog is rawhide it is easily digested.

No, because pork chop bones are small and they splinter very easily. These splinters are very dangerous - they can become stuck in a dog's throat.

Although most people don't have problems with giving their dogs porkchop bones most vets would advise against it. When a dog chew on the bones they can cause the bones to splinter and get caught in their throats or intestines. They could also penetrate the digestive tract and cause big problems for your dog. I wouldn't risk it.

Pork bones are prone to splinter easily and are extremely dangerous for your canine companion :) Vets advise highly against feeding dogs any cooked bones because the splinters get stuck in your dogs throat, intestines, and digestive tract. Pigs also carry diseases that dogs can't handle. Pork bones aren't safe!
