No. That myth was made popular in the movies. Your tongue is attached quite well to your mouth and not even a cesure would pry it loose. Thus the popular but wrong standard of putting a wallet in a ceasing persons mouth.

No, you can not literally swallow your tongue. There is a small piece of skin (which you can easily see when you look under your tongue in the mirror) which anchors your tongue. However, it can block your airway ie: during medical distress such as s seizure.

It's not physically possible to swallow your tongue. It's a myth that is associated with dying or when having a seizure. Your tongue is a muscle; when it relaxes like any other muscle in the body it flops back and covers your air passage suffocating you. It is possible to bite your tongue off though during a seizure.

It is impossible to swallow your tongue. Your tongue is a muscle that you have control of. The only way to swallow your tongue would be to cut it out of your mouth and swallow it whole. The tongue helps you with a lot of things like speaking and eating.
